It has since grown into an arts, music, and comedy event attracting featuring world class acts like the Breeders, Jonathan Richman, My Bloody Valentine, Bob Odenkirk, the Faint, !!!, Dan Deacon, Glasser, and more. Last year's FYF fest attracted over 20,000 fans of all ages to L.A.'s Historic State Park, where they enjoyed a weekend of music, vegan and vegetarian food from local food trucks, and performances from local, national, and international artists.
Sean has been interviewed in or profiled by by KCRW, the LAist, Brooklyn Vegan, the LA Weekly, KCET, and more; we will be talking with him about the importance of grassroots community involvement, the how-tos of event promotion, and how to do make a living doing something you love.
All are welcome, but students interested in the music in arts, in grassroots activism, or in event promotion and awareness-buildling strategies might find this especially useful.
