Milan Dixit, the founder and principal of the Rato Bangala School in Kathmandu, will speak about education in post-war Nepal. One of the country's top schools, Rato Bangala has taken a leading role in developing peace and conflict curriculum addressing Nepal’s 1996-2006 civil war. Dixit is also the co-founder of the Rato Bangala Foundation, which is working to improve the quality of education in public schools in some of the poorest areas of Nepal.
