Ten Reasons to Give a Damn: Your Vote and How to Make It Count

Anna Ekindjian Edwards '98, 2012 Lois Langland Alumna-in-Residence, talks with the Scripps community about why getting out the vote is so important to the electoral process.

Voter apathy is alive and well, even when so much is at stake in every election.  Listen as 2012 LLAiR (Lois Langland Alumna-in-Residence) Anna Ekindjian Edwards '98 outlines the reasons to move past apathy and toward action.  She will also explore the possibility of hidden roadblocks that may be keeping voters from the polls without them even realizing it.

LLAiR recipient and "In It To Win It" program creator Anna Ekindjian Edwards graduated in 1998 from Scripps College. She has worked with political parties, candidates, top donors, and grassroots organizers. She has seen the good, the bad, and the ugly in politics and campaign management, and she will share it all with you. Through it all, she has learned that elections are the best way to affect social change, and her LLAiR program will show you how.
