The Maulik Pancholy event has bene rescheduled for Thursday, March 22nd!
Maulik Pancholy, Indian-American actor and co-star of 30-Rock, Whitney, and Weeds, will present, Diversity on Screen, at Garrison Theater, at 7:00 p.m. on March 22.
Pancholy uses his personal experiences as an Indian- American actor to discuss how media stereotypes have evolved over the course of his career. Since his earliest roles, Hollywood’s portrayal of minorities has undergone drastic and mostly positive changes. What’s changed? Why does it matter? And how much further do we have to go in order to tell “the whole story?”
