This training will provide important information for work with CEC partner organizations and can help you choose the site of your community internship, volunteer opportunity, or work-study position. It is helpful (but not necessary) if you already know where you will intern when you attend the orientation.Monday, February 4th, 2pm-3:30pm am in the GSC Multi-Purpose RoomOr Tuesday, February 5th, 9am-10:30am in the GSC Multi-Purpose Room *Please note, you must attend at least one orientation each year as there are many constant changes in community work and much of our information changes annually. If you can’t make either of these sessions, please contact Tricia Morgan to make alternative arrangements. The dates and times for programs are tentative and subject to change based on the needs of the site, urban fellow and student interns – please verify with the appropriate party below before settling on your internship. Space is limited and interns will be accommodated on a first-come, first-serve basis. Faculty intending to send large amounts of their class to a specific site should be in contact with the Urban Fellow for core sites to reserve room for your students.
