 Shabnam Siddiqui is an academic practitioner having eighteen years’ experience in gender, peace and governance work. She recently completed coursework towards a PhD in Public Policy (three semesters) from the National University of Singapore, and is taking a break to continue meaningful work.

 Shabnam started work early, a week after graduation, focusing on women and gender issues. With the realization that these issues were part of a larger global matrix, moved on to peace and conflict arena, and most recently her work has centered around good governance. Work station has primarily been India, with short-term and long-term stints in Pakistan, France, United States and Singapore

 Lunch will be provided. This event is free and open to the public.
